It takes some people a long time before figuring out what their life's work should be. Not Greg. "I started washing dishes when I was twelve and never really stopped," he says. "I love making people happy." A native of the Milwaukee/Lake Country area, Greg started as a line cook and sous chef before growing into his role as Executive Chef. He feels blessed to work "with such a talented collective of people" and loves "watching people work together to make the impossible happen. I find (restaurant people) are the greatest collection of unique and wonderful individuals assembled under a single roof," says Greg. Of his experience at Food Fight, Greg says, "We've definitely gotten bigger, but I've watched as the level of involvement in our employees' benefits and lives has gotten better. The steps we are taking with regards to immigration issues currently is a great example." When not cooking, Greg likes to "spend time with my children, ride motorcycles, watch soccer, and read as much as I can."
